I've been trying to write a story. And I can't seem to get properly inspired enough to write more than a page. The story lines I've been trying aren't satisfying me and I get bored. It's very frustrating, seeing as I really want to send something home to perhaps entertain people. Oh well. I'll just keep trying, in between bathroom, meal and laundry breaks all weekend.
I went to the library today. There isn't much in there, considering it's a two floor college library. I was hoping for a section of fiction that I could spend all my time in. But, no. I was disappointed. Only acemedic and scholarly material is housed on the first floor. And the second floor, aside from being the "quiet floor" is only for library sources and journals. That means that to get books, I'll either have to blackmail someone to drive me to Barnes & Noble's or the public library. Ugh.
Other than that, not much has changed since my last entry. Still boring, still lonely. But, I'm getting used to it. The Jewish holidays came and went and Homecoming activites start next week. I wonder what I should do for Sammy Day. Apparently, Sammy is our seagull school mascot. Am I supposed to dress up as a seagull? Wear Salisbury University gear? Fly? I can't figure it out. And I don't want to ask an upperclassmen, because they'll think I'm stupid. And I've already embarrassed myself enough so far. I guess I'll just find out on Wednesday.
And don't worry. My entries have been pretty useless lately, too. At least you seem to be hinting at something more exciting then anything I've been writing about.
