  • I'm probably disturbing my roommate as I type this. She's napping once again and I'm on the computer wasting what's left of my day. This has become our routine as we near the end of the semester.
Finals are in a little less than a week and a half. I'm nervous. I hate exams and testing and I just really want winter break to start. This monotonous college schedule thing is really bothering me and I need to get away. Hanging out with others is starting to lose its entertainment and this one last English assignment is just obnoxious. We just turned in an eight to ten page paper about a week ago. There is no need to assign anything else just to torture us.
Anyway, while I was trying to amuse myself last night, I made him another CD. That's kind of our thing now, compiling playlists for one another and burning it to a disc. We share our favorite music this way and I love having more songs to listen to, since certain downloading programs don't work here on campus. And I like to make each cover different. So, this one is a list of different lyrics from the songs featured that I like the best. I originally wanted to pick ones that fit together and told some sort of story. But, after staring at the printed out list for a half an hour and nothing coming to mind, I decided to just leave it as random as it was and just color on it.
    I just couldn't be creative.
Winter always makes me depressed, sad, angry and, of course, cold, but this year the weather is so much more frustrating than usual. I'm away from home and without all of my winter apparrel. I'm very cold, I'm very bored, and I'm procrastinating.
I wish it could be summer all the time; when the rain is warm and the thunderstorms are frequent; I like the burn of the sun and heat rising off of the blacktop; The long days and the complete freedom. That's my idea of a wonderland.
